Centennial Beer and Wine

Fun Stuff

Home delivery is now available for the Centennial Beer

Laurier has partnered with a popular Ontario winery and a local brewer to produce several special blends to help us celebrate our centennial. Thanks to the hard work of the Laurier Food Services department, the wine and beer will be available for centennial dinners and catered events throughout the year. Please enjoy responsibly!

Grand River Brewing has produced a Kölsch style ale, which is a popular German Oktoberfest beer, for our enjoyment. After a student contest ran on Facebook in early October, the name chosen for this beer was “1911 Centennial Ale.” Grand River Brewing, which is located in Cambridge, ON, is now offering home delivery in addition to stocking the beer in their Cambridge store. Visit their website for more details!

Château des Charmes, a winery based in Niagara-on-the-Lake, has provided us with a 2006 Cabernet and a 2008 Chardonnay to brand for our centennial. Both are easy drinking wines that pair nicely with a variety of foods.
